Innovation
Where ever I go, I hear the word innovation. Be it any industry forum, magazine or merely a discussion with a peer from another company. Everyone is looking at innovating in order to be competitive.
How we collate information on problem solving and utilize it for larger access is the key to innovation process. Innovation demands a lot of planning and organization. It also came about that innovation does not mean inventing a new science. As I found out, innovation is making changes in processes, products and systems in order to add value. either by lowering cost or reducing time or then just doing more with less.
I do believe that innovation is not a 'one-man-army'. Innovation is not the responsibility of R&D Center or Technology people alone. Each one of us can contribute ideas which can have impact on innovative processes and products.
